Job Description
Local RN/Tele Contract Role
Location: Altoona PA 16601
Shift: Variable shift
Duration: 12-weeks contract
Weekly Pay: $960 $1056
Guaranteed Hours: 24 per week
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to telemetry patients including continuous cardiac monitoring
- Interpret EKG rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and manage critical drips in accordance with facility policies
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
- Perform assessments develop care plans and document patient progress
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes medications and discharge instructions
- Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience (required)
- Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Active Pennsylvania RN license in good standing
- American Heart Association BLS certification (required)
- American Heart Association ACLS certification (required)
- Proficient and comfortable with titration of drips (required)
- Strong critical thinking communication and teamwork skills
