Job Description
Interventional Radiology Technologist Contract Role
- Location: Rochester NY 14621
- Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
- Shift: Day (8)-8:00 start
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $3120 - $3360
- Perform interventional radiology procedures under physician direction ensuring accurate imaging and proper technique
- Assist in neuro and vascular interventional procedures
- Operate interventional radiology equipment with a preference for experience on Philips or Siemens mono-plane or bi-plane systems
- Prepare patients for procedures explain processes and provide compassionate patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within Epic/Care Connect
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies infection control and safety standards
- Maintain a sterile environment and assist physicians during procedures
- Participate in quality assurance equipment maintenance and continuing education activities
- Collaborate effectively with nurses physicians and other technologists to ensure seamless workflow
Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification (required)
Licensure: New York State DOH Radiologic Technologist license (must be obtained prior to start date if not currently licensed in NY)
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years prior Interventional Radiology experience in a hospital setting (required)
- Strong vascular operating room (OR) experience (required)
- IR Neuro and Vascular experience preferred
- Experience with Philips or Siemens interventional suites highly preferred
Vascular Interventional (VI) Certification: preferred
Cath Lab experience: not required
Electronic Medical Record: Epic/Care Connect experience preferred
