Job Description
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTIONAmbulatory Surgery provides pre intra and post op care to surgical and procedural sedation patients. We provide service for the patient population of pediatrics adolescents adult and elderly patients. We work with a variety of provider specialties in caring for people going home that day or are being admitted to the hospital. NOTE: Full-time 8-hour/day 5-day/week RN position in Ambulatory Surgery covering all phases of care including pre-operative PACU and post-operative recovery. Start time is flexible between 0600 and 0830 with the majority of shifts beginning between 0800 and 0830 based on departmental needs. Rotational call required: average of one weekend per month (Friday PM through Monday AM) and 2 3 weekday calls per month. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONSCurrent unencumbered Oregon RN license Provider Level BLS ACLS and PALS required. NOTE: Rotational PACU call for nights weekends and holidays required.
