About:
We are looking for a Safety Manager to lead and enhance safety programs that protect passengers employees and the public.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and improve the Safety Management System (SMS)
-
Implement and support the Public Transit Agency Safety Plan (PTASP)

Develop emergency preparedness and business recovery plans
-
Deliver safety training including for new technologies and battery electrification
-
Collaborate on safety for facilities and capital projects
-
Support environmental compliance efforts

Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization
Qualifications:
-
Experience in transit or transportation safety risk management or related fields
-
Strong leadership and teamwork skills
-
Commitment to public service and community well-being
