Job Description

Quality Control Inspector
Sacramento CA
Direct - Hire / Full-Time
About:
We are looking to hire a skilled Quality Control Inspector for a full-time role requiring hands-on inspection expertise and a dedication to upholding rigorous quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect products on the production floor using calipers micrometers height gauges pins and other measuring tools

  • Verify products against engineering drawings work orders and process specs

  • Identify and report non-conforming products to production and account managers

  • Make data-driven decisions based on inspection results

  • Input and analyze data using the company ERP system

  • Evaluate returned materials and write clear non-conformance reports

  • Collaborate with engineering estimating and production teams to resolve issues

  • Conduct First Article Final and In-Process Inspections

  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes

  • Verify and issue material test reports

  • Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing

  • Follow company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of dimensional inspection experience preferred

  • At least 2 years in a manufacturing environment

  • Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Basic math skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
