About:
We are Seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support customer service and carrier operations with a focus on ensuring timely freight movement and maximizing role involves coordinating logistics activities developing new business opportunities and maintaining high service standards.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate logistics between clients carriers shippers and receivers to ensure timely pick-up transport and delivery.
- Support business development by collaborating with operations leadership and managing target accounts.
- Review and adjust customer rates to maintain profitability.
- Prepare sales proposals handle customer follow-up and manage order entry for accurate billing.
- Monitor customer activity service performance and resolve issues to enhance satisfaction.
- Secure carrier capacity and oversee load tracking and delivery status using software tools.
- Manage affiliate and dedicated carrier performance.
- Provide after-hours support for critical issues as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Contribute to quality management and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; some college preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of logistics or related experience.
- Strong computer proficiency. (Word Excel etc.)
- Excellent data entry and communication skills.
- Proven work history with reliability and accuracy.
- Strong decision-making and analytical skills.
- Sales and growth mindset.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
