About the Role:
We are looking for a Commissioning Engineer to support the delivery of mission-critical data center projects. The role involves overseeing the commissioning of key electrical and power systems to ensure reliable safe and high-performance operations. You ll play a vital part in testing verifying and handing over complex systems in a fast-paced environment. The role is part of our European Project team so travel within the EU/UK is required.
What you ll do:- Lead and support commissioning activities across high medium and low voltage electrical systems.
- Manage the commissioning of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems switchgear generators transformers and control systems.
- Drive quality assurance and control throughout all commissioning stages.
- Coordinate with project teams vendors and clients to ensure commissioning readiness and successful system handover.
- Oversee testing troubleshooting and issue resolution during the commissioning process.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety compliance and operational procedures.
- Contribute to commissioning reports documentation and lessons learned.
- Solid understanding of electrical distribution UPS switchgear and power systems in regulated environments.
- Experience working with QA/QC processes and commissioning standards.
- Familiarity with integrated systems testing (L2A to L5 IST).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
- Previous data center commissioning experience is a plus.
- A valid Work Visa
- Willingness to travel for UK/EU projects
