• Manage and administer Active Directory Windows Servers Storage Networking VxRail Virtualization NSX Storage backup Windows DHCP and Azure Cloud-based services.
• Administer and support hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) especially Dell VxRail and VMware vSphere/ESXi environments.
• Manage Azure cloud-based infrastructure and services ensuring seamless integration with on-premises systems.
• Oversee the hybrid cloud environment including Azure services: virtual networks storage compute and identity management (Entra ID).
• Plan and execute system upgrades capacity planning and hardware lifecycle management.
• Proficient in handling end-to-end infrastructure projects including RFP creation vendor evaluations migrations and comprehensive documentation of technical designs and procedures. Adept at identifying and resolving system issues ensuring stability and operational efficiency.
• Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams including network security and application stakeholders. Previous experience in the sports industry and supporting large-scale time-sensitive events is a strong advantage demonstrating the ability to deliver under pressure in dynamic environments
• Provide advanced technical support for escalated issues troubleshooting complex problems and resolving system-related incidents.
• Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor and maintain system health performance and security.
• Manage CCTV and surveillance server infrastructure ensuring reliable video storage access and availability.
• Plan and execute server patching and updates to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.
• Cordinate patch management schedules and maintenance activities.
Incident Managent:
• Investigate and diagnose the incident by understanding the chronological order of events.
• Confirm the full impact of the incident including the number and range of users affected.
• Identify any events that could have triggered the incident.
• Look for knowledge searches looking from previous Incident/Problem Records and/or Known Error Databases or manufacturers’/suppliers’ Error Logs or Knowledge Databases
• Follow up with the relevant stakeholders till the incident resolution has been achieved.
• Test and apply the resolution.
• Provide L2&3 support for escalated infrastructure issues and collaborate with service providers and vendors to resolve persistent problems.
Problem Management:
• Analyze an incident to detect an underlying problem exists or is likely to exist.
• Categorize and prioritize the problem based on the frequency severity and impact of incident.
• Investigate and diagnose the root cause of the problem.
• Test and apply the temporary workarounds.
• Prepare the RCA for the high priority incidents.
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of critical incidents impacting stadium and venue operations.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure runbooks and troubleshooting guides.
8 years experience in infrastructure/system engineering roles with a focus on hybrid environments (on-prem cloud).
Hands-on experience managing:
Windows Server & Active Directory environments
Office 365/Exchange online
SSL Certificate services/Licenses Management
Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) VMware (vSphere vCenter) Hyper-converged Infrastructure (preferably Dell VxRail) Enterprise Storage Solutions (vSAN/NAS e.g. Dell EMC) Azure IaaS PaaS and hybrid services (Azure Arc Azure Backup Azure Monitor).
Strong understanding of ITIL framework and experience working in incident problem and change-controlled environments.

Bachelor of Engineering
Or Bachelor of Information Technology
Or Bachelor of Computer Science
Certifications:
Azure Administrator Associate Google Associate Cloud Engineer Or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate Linux or equivalent systems engineering certifications.
