Job Description
The Quality Engineer Senior position is responsible for monitoring and driving improvements to the quality of components or products produced in area of responsibility justifying and leading projects that permanently resolve systemic issues and improve quality capabilities and actively participating on cross functional project teams ensuring that the proper steps are being taken to improve quality. This position requires familiarity and expertise in quality systems and is actively involved in developing the quality capabilities of the organization.
Role & Responsibility:
Quality Governance

Oversee key elements of the quality system for quality assurance and quality control in the production main assembly sub-assembly and all related areas.

Work in the area of responsibility to monitor prioritize and communicate quality related information from internal and external sources.

Drive Quality Management Systems initiatives to enhance a quality culture.

Define and coordinate audits and assessments on products and processes that ensure outgoing products are free of defects and comply to specifications. This includes validation of new and/or changes in designs Machinery process fixtures tools and equipment.

Supervise the activities of engineers and interns in completion of assigned tasks and projects.

Develop and manage data analysis systems to prioritize focus and determine root cause.
Job Requirement

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field. Equivalent allowed.

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification desired.

In-depth knowledge of QSM Core tools PFMEA Control Plan Quality Assurance and Quality Preventive Processes.

In-depth knowledge of mechanical electrical and hydraulic systems.
-
Demonstrated experience with similar product and/or manufacturing processes.

Understanding of company systems processes and procedures.

Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated strong communication skills.
-
Demonstrated project management skills.
-
5-7 years experience in Quality Final Product Assembly.

Less than 10% travel is required.
