Job Description
Job Details: Lead Design Engineer
Your tasks:
- Disciplinary and technical management of the design department
- Planning of resources and task management considering agreed milestones
- Technical consulting for internal and external stakeholders
- Coordination of technical requirements (function and installation space) with the customer/supplier
- Development of concepts and feasibility studies ensuring standards design guidelines and implementation of lessons learned
- Collaboration and coordination with interdisciplinary teams
Your qualifications:
- Promotion and development of your team as well as introduction of modern design methods and tools
- Completed degree in mechanical engineering or comparable
- Several years of experience in the design of plastic components
- Several years of professional experience with an automotive supplier desirable
- Experience with plastic injection molding tools desirable
- Strong leadership and communication skills flexibility and independence
- High solution orientation and the ability to develop innovative approaches
- Very good knowledge of CAD systems
- Very good German and English language skills
Work Location: Hodenhagen Germany.
