Job Description

Our client a well-established company based in Malta is currently seeking to recruit a German-speaking Customer and Sales Support Officer to join their growing team.

This Monday to Friday role focuses on providing excellent customer service to existing clients while identifying opportunities to offer suitable solutions based on their needs. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling both support and sales-related queries in a professional and client-focused environment.

Tasks

  • Deliver professional customer service for inquiries about the companys products and services
  • Open client accounts in line with internal procedures
  • Build rapport with customers and support them with onboarding online tools and mobile applications
  • Maintain solid knowledge of company offerings to provide accurate and helpful information
  • Identify opportunities to offer additional services based on customer needs
  • Handle card-related requests including cancellations renewals and reissues
  • Process transactions and outgoing payments using internal systems
  • Ensure compliance with company policies security guidelines and standards
  • Keep accurate records of interactions and transactions
  • Manage data collection via phone email and live chat
  • Support invoicing processes and payment allocation
  • Assist with various administrative tasks as directed
  • Liaise with internal departments and international teams to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Monitor repayments and allocate accordingly in the system
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Customer Support or Sales preferably in an online or service-driven environment
  • Native or fluent level of German along with fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset
  • Strong computer literacy and comfort working with digital systems
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Passionate about delivering quality service and growing within a supportive environment
