Job Responsibilities
- Conduct of searches and verifications at the Lands Registries corporate searches at the
- Corporate Affairs Commission the Courts and various other Government Agencies.
- Drafting and review of Court processes up to the High Courts and filing at the Courts and appearance in proceedings at such Courts.
- Drafting and review of commercial agreements and contracts
- Attending meetings and taking minutes at such meetings and general company secretarial services functions.
- Liaising with relevant Government Business Regulatory Agencies and obtaining necessary approvals permits and licenses
- Liaising with and representing clients at the investigating units/departments of law enforcement agencies
- Provision of general legal advisory services on diverse areas of law
Requirements
- Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) from a recognised University in Nigeria or abroad and a qualifying Barrister at Law Certificate (B.L) from the Nigerian Law School.
- A minimum of a second-class upper degree and Certificate scores;
- Must have completed the mandatory one-year National Youth Service Core Scheme;
- The candidates should have a range of 2 - 4 years of working experience as a legal practitioner. Experience in a private firm will be an added advantage.
Employment Type- Full-time
Work Mode- Onsite (Monday-Friday)
Work Hours- (8 AM - 6 PM WAT)
Location- Victoria Island Lagos State Nigeria.
Benefits
Remuneration- NGN 200000 - NGN 250000 Monthly Net.
