Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement model-based designs for various vehicle or machine components.
- Build detailed physical models of mechanical systems using Simscape Multibody defining assembly constraints and joints.
- Perform simulations to evaluate system performance kinematics and dynamics.
- Utilize simulation tools such as MATLAB Simulink AMESIM and ADAMS for modeling and analysis.
- Create and manage 3D models and assemblies in CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks CATIA).
- Interpret simulation results to provide recommendations for design improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design controls and validation engineering.
- Document modeling approaches assumptions and results comprehensively.
Requirements:
- 57 years of relevant experience in multibody simulation and model-based design.
- Proficiency in Sims cape Multibody for building physical models and defining mechanical constraints.
- Strong working knowledge of simulation and modeling tools: MATLAB Simulink AMESIM ADAMS.
- Experience with 3D CAD modeling software (e.g. SolidWorks CATIA NX).
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems design principles and dynamics.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Experience working in automotive heavy machinery or industrial equipment domains.
- Familiarity with control system integration in simulation environments.
