Job Description
- Liaison between the business departments and IT for understanding defining and developing business processes within SAP related to accounting cost accounting and controlling as well as internal control systems (ICS) and consolidation while considering both local and group-wide accounting principles
- Definition of business requirements and creation of specifications as well as performing configurations and preparing test cases related to all areas of Financial Accounting (GL AP AR AA SL) and Controlling (cost centers internal orders product cost controlling costing COPA etc.)
- Sparring partner for business departments and support for existing processes in the areas of FI/CO/ICS/Consolidation as well as identification of process improvements
- Point of contact for automation opportunities within the area of responsibility and support of existing automation solutions
- Clear communication of technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Preparation and delivery of workshops and presentations
- Execution of 2nd and 3rd level support participation in local and global projects and provision of 1st level support when required
- Active participation in the transformation to S/4HANA
- Project management for local and international SAP projects with a focus on SAP FI/CO
- Close collaboration with internal and external consultants as well as international SAP Business Process Experts
Qualifications :
- University degree or equivalent education
- Professional experience as a functional consultant in finance cost accounting and controlling in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA
- Professional experience in finance cost accounting and controlling (advantageous)
- Good knowledge of SAP standard processes in all areas of FI/CO
- Basic understanding of cross-module processes (SD CS MM PP)
- Several years of practical experience in customizing SAP FI/CO
- Experience in S/4HANA implementation and in managing SAP projects (advantageous)
- Excellent communication skills
- Business fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Good knowledge of German (advantageous)
- Self-organized approach to work and enjoyment of working in local and global project teams
- Entrepreneurial and solution-oriented thinking with conceptual and analytical skills in a global environment
- Willingness to travel internationally approx. 10% of the time
