Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Engineer - Nuclear to join our team in Navi Mumbai India. In this critical role you will lead and manage complex nuclear engineering projects ensuring safety efficiency and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee the planning execution and delivery of nuclear engineering projects adhering to strict safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement project plans schedules and budgets for nuclear power plant design operation or maintenance initiatives
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for nuclear engineering projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers scientists and regulatory bodies to ensure project success
- Perform complex engineering calculations and analyses related to nuclear systems and components
- Develop and review technical documentation including design specifications safety reports and regulatory submissions
- Mentor and guide junior engineers fostering their professional development and ensuring knowledge transfer within the team
- Stay current with the latest advancements in nuclear engineering technology and industry best practices
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Nuclear Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Masters degree preferred
- Professional Engineering (PE) license required
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in nuclear engineering projects with a proven track record of successful project delivery
- Advanced knowledge of nuclear engineering principles practices and regulatory standards
- Expertise in nuclear power plant systems components and radiation protection principles
- Strong project management skills including planning budgeting and risk management
- Proficiency in CAD software and nuclear simulation tools
- Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
