Location: Group role working across Isle of Wight Trust (IWT) and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust (PHU)
Salary: Band 7 (per annum dependent on experience)

About the Role
Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust (PHU) and Isle of Wight Trust (IWT) are committed to delivering safe effective and innovative digital healthcare. We are seeking a highly motivated registered professional to undertake the role of Clinical Safety Officer to lead on clinical risk management and ensure compliance with national safety standards including DCB 0129 and DCB 0160.
This is a pivotal role that offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to embed a culture of safety and continuous improvement across digital health initiatives.

Qualifications :
Nursing or Allied Health Professional degree or diploma with appropriate statutory professional body registration
Post graduate learning to Masters level or equivalent
Membership of NHSD Clinical Safety Officer community of interest
Training in risk assessment and safety management of clinical information systems
Must be willing to participate in any relevant training identified to develop skills required to carry out duties
Teaching training or mentorship qualification or experience to an equivalent level
Maintains a portfolio of CPD in line with regulatory body standards
Leadership and management qualification
