Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop implement and maintain theProject Quality Plan (PQP)in accordance with client requirements and industry standards (e.g. IEEE IEC ISO 9001).
- Supervise and coordinate allquality control activitieson-site including inspections testing and audits.
- Ensure allmaterials equipment and workmanshipmeet specified quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering procurement and construction teams to resolve quality issues and prevent rework.
- Conductinternal auditsand facilitatethird-party inspectionsas required.
- Maintain detailed and accuratequality documentation including inspection reports non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective/preventive action records.
- Leadroot cause analysisand implementcorrective actionsfor quality-related issues.
- Providetraining and guidanceto site personnel on quality procedures and best practices.
- Interface with the clients quality representatives and participate inprogress and quality review meetings.
- Monitor and report onquality KPIsand ensure continuous improvement throughout the project.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree inElectrical EngineeringCivil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum7 years of experiencein quality management with at least3 years in high voltage substation projects(69kV and above).
- In-depth knowledge ofQA/QC standardsconstruction codes andelectrical substation components.
- Familiarity withNESCNECIEEE andISO 9001standards.
- Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient inMS Officequality management software anddocument control systems.
- Certification such asCQA (Certified Quality Auditor)orCQE (Certified Quality Engineer)is a plus.
- Experience with Siemens projects is preferred but not required.
Work Environment:
- Full-time on-site presence required.
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Coordination with multiple contractors and stakeholders.
