Job Description

  • By utilizing OPS and L2L Team board will monitor daily production using L2L quality output and follow up on excessive downtime and initiate course of action.
  • Schedule daily production allocate resources as required ensure vacation coverage and control of overtime activity.
  • Conduct department employee meetings at the start of shift and participate in Gemba walks.
  • Provide timely feedback to enhance performance and create a positive work environment for the employees.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations regarding training or coaching of personnel.
  • Complete Team Leader 5S and verification audits.
  • Collect and reconcile work orders.
  • Monitor preventative maintenance activities to ensure completion
  • Follow and Enforce compliance to all Health & Safety Environmental Legal Quality and Oetiker policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for leading and implementing OPS improvements.

Qualifications :

Knowledge Skills Abilities

  • Mechanically Inclined 
    • Knowledge of production equipment
  • Word-processing and spreadsheet application software
    • Working knowledge of MS Word Excel PowerPoint Window
  • Communication Skills
    • Interpersonal and business writing skill
  • Labor Management
    • Knowledge of Employment Standards
    • Knowledge of company personnel policies and procedures (Administration Manual)
  • Health and Safety
    •   Knowledge of Current US Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations.
    • Understanding of the Health and Safety Policy Manual
    • Understanding of Machine Guarding standards
    • Understanding of Lock-out Tag-out procedure
  • Communication skills
    • Communication and Interpersonal Skills
    • Business & Technical Writing Skills
  • Quality and Environmental System
  • ISO/TS 16949 and related Policies Procedures and Process Manuals (including APQP)
    • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control Techniques
    • Knowledge of metrology
    • ISO 14000 and related Policies Procedures and Process Manuals
  • Product knowledge
    • Level 2 Product Training

Education / Experience

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • College diploma preferably in a relevant field
  • 2-4 years supervisory experience in automotive manufacturing or high volume manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949
