Job Description
Responsibilities
- Keep building clean
- Provide routine cleaning sanitation and general upkeep
- Clean dust furniture sweep mop or vacuum floors
- Empty/clean wastebaskets trash containers pick up recycled paper replace light bulbs and refill restroom dispensers.
- Perform cleaning and related activities such as removing snow and debris from sidewalks
- Keep inventory of all cleaning supplies and inform Office Manager
- Prepare all meeting rooms and set up for programs as directed
- Clean glass doors and windows.
- Clean gym floor as needed
- Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. Use as directed.
- Follow building sanitation procedures
- Clean bathrooms daily.
- Vacuum chapel weekly or as needed. Dust furnishings weekly
- Clean kitchen as needed and instructed.
- Move furniture equipment and tools as neededOpen all locked offices to be cleaned shut off coffee pots.
- Perform other related duties within the scope of the position.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds
- Experience in or ability to learn general building maintenance.
- Flexibility and a cooperative spirit are crucial characteristics of the individual who holds this important position
