Job Description
The South Branch Inn is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part Time Housekeeper to ensure the ongoing cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas. This position plays a key role in guest satisfaction and supports overall hotel team goals.
Compensation:
What Youll Be Doing:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas to brand standards
- Organize housekeeping supply areas and maintain equipment
- Start laundry promptly upon arrival and ensure all items are cleaned folded and stored appropriately
- Inspect guest rooms daily even if marked clean or vacant
- Communicate with front desk staff at the start of each shift for check-ins check-outs and special requests
- Maintain cleanliness in lobbies stairwells hallways guest bathrooms and elevators
- Replace damaged or stained guest materials (e.g. directories welcome cards)
- Follow all key control and safety procedures
What Were Looking For:
- Able to stand and move for 8-hour shifts
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs and bend frequently
- Able to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and hotel-related equipment
- Ability to understand and speak basic English
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred but not required
- Familiarity with basic computer applications (Microsoft Word Excel Google Apps) a plus
- Dependable and detail-oriented
