Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge and expertise in outside sales to solve complex customer problems and drive sales success.
  • Strong competence in navigating permitting process with DOT DOB & MTA
  • Works independently with minimal guidance consistently meeting sales goals and objectives.
  • Leads projects or contributes to key steps within broader projects holding accountability for ongoing activities and sales objectives.
  • Acts as a resource for less experienced colleagues providing guidance and sharing best practices to support their development.
  • Possesses advanced knowledge of the sales discipline and basic understanding of related areas ensuring a well-rounded approach to sales strategy.
  • Demonstrates a strong awareness of best practices market trends and the competitive landscape to differentiate the companys offerings.
  • Leads small-scale projects with manageable risks and resource requirements ensuring successful execution.
  • Solves complex problems and offers innovative perspectives on existing solutions using sound judgment based on analysis of multiple information sources.
  • Impacts customer operational and service activities within the sales team and other related departments adhering to broad organizational guidelines and policies.
  • Effectively communicates complex or sensitive information to customers and stakeholders working towards consensus and alignment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Sales Marketing or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 4-8 years of experience in outside sales with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing strong client relationships
  • In-depth knowledge of the sales process with the ability to solve complex problems and adapt strategies to unique customer needs.
  • Strong understanding of best practices in sales and how they integrate with other business functions to drive success.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and build consensus.
  • Experience leading small projects or teams managing resources and achieving project objectives with manageable risks
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make decisions based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Ability to work independently take initiative and handle a high level of responsibility.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite along with the ability to analyze and report sales data effectively.
