Description
The Market Access Value Proposition Manager is responsible for providing simple compelling and customized value propositions with clinical and economic data. Defines pricing scenarios and Pricing & Reimbursement (P&R) strategies and monitors all changes in competitive situation to anticipate risks and opportunities for Market Access and AbbVie products at the same time prepares submissions and objections handlers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Collaboration & Value Development
- Actively contributes to brand teams and identifies cross-functional collaboration opportunities
- Consolidates global and local data (Core Value Dossiers stakeholder insights brand priorities) to craft tailored value propositions
- Translates complex technical data into clear impactful messages for local stakeholders
- Liaises with Area/Regional HQ to align on value proposition development needs
2. Internal Enablement & Training
- Equips brand teams with relevant analysis tools and evidence to support communication of the value proposition
- Provides training and strategic input to internal teams on Market Access and value communication
3. Market Monitoring & Pricing Strategy
- Tracks market trends and competitive activity to anticipate risks and opportunities for access
- Develops pricing scenarios and P&R strategies in partnership with the Market Access Head
- Prepares pricing submissions and manages objections when needed
4. HEOR & Data Generation
- Identifies local HEOR data needs and engages with HTA bodies payers and providers
- Maintains strong ties with the health economics community and KOLs to gather relevant evidence
- Provides local pharmaco-economic data to support brand value positioning
- Supports the integration of local HEOR endpoints into medical studies and modeling exercises
5. Scientific Communication & Evidence Impact
- Contributes to manuscript development and publication activities
- Adapts and populates economic models to the local context to quantify the value of AbbVie products
- Offers insights and affiliate-level feedback to Global HEOR teams for continuous alignment
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree biological sciences pharmacy business related field or equivalent.
- 3-5 years working in pharmaceutical industry or within consultancy/academic institution.
- Knowledge of established cost-containment measures used to manage pharmaceutical expenditure.
- Knowledge of local payer mindset and motivations.
- Knowledge of pharmaco-economic principles.
- Ability to interpret scientific and pharmaco-economic data to assess its relevance to stakeholders and build into value messages.
- Ability to analyze complex models and scientific data and draw out key messages.
- Ability to think strategically to understand how to position a value-story in the context of brand and affiliate strategy.
- Ability to effectively interface with customers in order to deliver value messages and gather insights.
- Ability to lead/manage cross-functional projects to develop a value proposition.
- Ability to communicate effectively in order to facilitate internal information sharing and brand team working.
Preferred
- Minimum 4 years of market access experience.
- Previous experience in hospital business.
- Experience in other functional area as medical or commercial.
- Oncology/Hematology expertise
