Job Description

We are currently hiring a Quality Systems Manager to join our team in Westport. The Quality Systems Manager is responsible for overseeing the processing of all electronic documentation at the Westport site. This role ensures that our Document Control Center (DCC) Department maintains compliance with local regulatory and legislative requirements related to Safety Housekeeping and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The manager supports and complies with internal environmental health and safety requirements procedures and policies. By collaborating with QA EHS Compliance and regulatory affairs the Quality Systems Manager ensures all internal procedures meet current standards. Additionally this role involves the maintenance of SAP quality material master data for the Westport Plant.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Document Control Team
  • Oversee SOP Manufacturing and QA documentation onsite
  • Host DCC Tier Board meetings
  • Prioritize scheduling tasks
  • Compile and report metrics for the DCC Department
  • Process DCC GTW records
  • Manage the addition of SOPs to LMS Compliance Wire
  • Approve DCC-related SOPs and internal documents
  • Coordinate file retention activities onsite
  • Represent the site in Global Documentation Projects
  • Coordinate updates to global documentation to assess impacts on local procedures
  • Maintain SAP quality material master data

Qualifications :

  • 3 years experience in a similar Quality Management role
  • Proven leadership and team management experience in a Quality Team
  • A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent team-building skills
  • Experience coordinating meetings with both Global and Local Teams
  • Proficient in quality management systems
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent IT skills
