- Base salary range: Level B $113934 - $134824 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.

The Department of Accounting & Finance in the Business School offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses as well as research-based doctoral degrees. The students rank amongst the brightest in Australia as measured by Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR). Academics in the Department deliver high quality teaching and conduct high quality research.
About the opportunity
- Teach and mentor some of Australias brightest students in a department committed to innovative and inclusive learning.
- Conduct high-quality research in sustainability auditing and digital transformation while collaborating with national and international experts.
- Build strong professional networks influence policy and practice and contribute to the broader academic and business community.
About you
- Hold a PhD or equivalent in Accounting.
- Demonstrated research interest in sustainability (including sustainability reporting) auditing and assurance management accounting and/or digital transformation in accounting (use of AI and big data analytics for decision-making).
- Show evidence of an ability to guide the direction and supervision of postgraduate students and be willing to supervise honours or postgraduate research projects.
- Demonstrated interest in teaching in the areas of sustainability accounting information systems auditing management accounting and/or taxation would be welcomed.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative teaching approaches assessment and materials for units and courses.
- Demonstrate a significant personal contribution and commitment to high quality teaching and learning including prior teaching experience.
