Job Description
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for guests Join our team at Fairmont Banff Springs as a Front Desk Reception Agent where you will be at the forefront of our guest experience.
Starting Rate: $19.59 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $24.93.
Job Duties Include:
Reporting to the Front Desk Manager responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide professional friendly and engaging service to all guests
- Greet check in/out settle accounts and respond to all guest inquiries
- Handle and document guest requests or issues ensure follow-up and resolution
- Promote hotel facilities and upsell room brands to drive revenue
- Adhere to hotel policies procedures safety and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Your Skills & Qualifications:
- Flexible availability for shift work including overnights weekends and holidays
- Experience using a Property Management System (PMS)
- Previous front desk or customer service experience
- Proficient in English (verbal and written); second language an asset
- Strong administrative skills (e.g. accurate data entry documentation filing)
- Ability to manage booking systems and process guest check-ins/check-outs
- Familiarity with handling payments billing and guest account settlement
