Foth is currently seeking a team-focused innovative and results-oriented Lead Project Scheduler who has a desire to contribute to our clients success and is looking for new learning experiences and opportunities for career growth. While it is preferred that this individual works out of our Green Bay office we are open to candidates from any of our 29 locations or a US-based remote work-from-home locations.
Position Overview:
In this exciting role you will develop and maintain project schedules and cost controls for engineering and construction projects. As a Lead Project Scheduler you can expect to spend 75% of your time on scheduling responsibilities and the other 25% on cost controls. You will be involved in all phases of the project execution cycle from concept through execution ensuring that projects are completed within scope schedule and budget.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain project schedules using scheduling software tools.
Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Monitor project progress and update schedules accordingly.
Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts.
Prepare regular status reports and communicate schedule updates to stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones.
Assist in the preparation of project budgets.
Monitor and track project expenditures.
Support the analysis of cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Contribute to the development of cost control policies and procedures.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in construction management or engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
10 years of professional experience in Project Controls or Project Planning & Controls roles.
Experience in leading scheduling efforts on engineering projects over $500000 and construction projects over $5M.
Proven track record in handling complex financial data sets and integrating them into existing MS Project dashboards.
Demonstrated proficiency in the procurement process and the ability to translate data into tracking tools.
Experience with Oracle Primavera Cloud Primavera P6 or MS Project scheduling software.
Intermediate Excel skills including data analysis conditional formatting data validation and pivot tables.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced MS Excel skills including the creation and utilization of complex formulas lookup functions and integration of data sets into existing Excel files.
General understanding of Power BI with future utilization of Power BI dashboards.
Experience with multiple ERP systems including Deltek Vision and/or VantagePoint.
PSP and/or AACE certifications are a plus but not required.
