Job Description
The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Dickson is accepting applications for a second full-time position of Associate Instructor in the Computer Information Technology program at the Clarksville Campus. This is a grant-funded position.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Technical diploma in instructional area or equivalent higher education with credentials in related field. Associate degree preferred. A comparable combination of related work experience current certifications and education may be considered.
- Three (3) years of full-time experience in the Computer Information Technology field within the last five (5) years.
- Must possess a high degree of knowledge in network administration PC hardware systems analysis and software.
- Must possess the organizational and communications skills necessary to be an effective teacher and to interact with high school and adult students.
- Current CompTIA A Network Security certifications and Microsoft certifications or the ability to become certified within twelve (12) calendar months.
- Prior teaching or evidence of ability to teach students is a plus.
SKILLS
- Must possess the organizational and communication skills necessary to be an effective teacher and to interact with high school and adult students.
- Must show evidence of good character mature attitude and stable personality.
- Must be willing to remain current in the instructional field and maintain personal certifications and program accreditation(s).
- Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal working relationships with students faculty staff the general public and business/industry representatives.
- Must be willing and able to perform administrative duties in a timely manner.
SALARY: $50894-$61074 annually ($26.10-$31.32 per hour). Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines and directly related experience.
