Description
The Opportunity: Junior Structural Drafter Brisbane
Are you a detail-oriented CAD professional with a passion for structural design We are seeking a Structural Drafter to join our growing Brisbane engineering team. In this role youll collaborate closely with structural engineers and architects to produce high-quality technical drawings and construction documentation for a variety of building and infrastructure projects.

In this role you will:
- You will manage drafting on small and large projects autonomously within the project team.
- Manage small projects autonomously where no Lead Engineer is allocated
- Liaise with engineers and architects on the preparation and coordination of documentation.
- Competently convey structural information into drawing format which can be interpreted by builders.
- Assist Lead Engineer in the preparation of preliminary sketch designs from architectural drawings as required.
- Provide technical support of Revit and other software.
- Actively input ideas to the progressive improvement of the drafting systems
- Communicate relevant project information as appropriate to the project leaders/project team.
Skills And Experiences
Who are we looking for:
This role is ideally suited to someone with:
- Relevant TAFE qualification or equivalent
- At least 3 years in a similar role
- Proficient in structural drafting using Revit
- Strong understanding of BCA and relevant Australian Standards
- Professional level of written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem solving/analytical skills
