Job Description
The Property Field Claims Adjuster Sr will ensure a consistent positive and satisfying claims experience for our clients by properly investigating evaluating negotiating and settling property claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigates claims by determining applicable policy coverage evaluating negotiating and settling assigned claims.
- Initiates contact with insureds claimants and all relevant parties to gather essential information obtain recorded statements when necessary and explain the overall claims process.
- Conducts physical and/or virtual inspections of damaged property when necessary evaluates damages and prepares written estimates according to policy provisions and liability.
Requirements
- This field position requires living and being comfortable traveling territories assisting clients in: WA US - Bellingham WA - Seattle WA
- Field Property Adjuster experience
- Possesses competent knowledge of residential and commercial construction techniques.
- Multilingual is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft WORD and Excel (or their equivalents) Xactimate and/orother claims estimating software (as applicable).
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- This job operates in a work-from-home and virtual office environment with a mobile office/company vehicle to work from and utilize for transportation to and from appointments.
- Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license with the ability to drive an automobile.
- The ability to lift carry and climb ladders weighing up to 50 pounds to perform roof inspections may be required.
- May be called upon for catastrophic duty.
- Maintains the appropriate adjusters licensing as required by the state.
- Typically requires 10 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience education and training.
- Drone experience
