Job Description
Overview
To provide cleaning services indoor and outdoor maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Empty all trash and-transport to dumpster
- Sweep all hard floors daily and mop as needed
- Wash all glass including door and panes as needed- surfaces daily
- Dust and/or wash tables and kitchen area as needed
- Clean restroom fixtures floors and partitions daily
- Disinfect restroom floors daily
- Replace paper supplies and deodorize the restrooms as needed.
- Order janitorial supplies with the permission of the Corps Officers
- Strip wax and buff floors as needed
- Vacuum carpets as needed with offices and lounge area daily
- Set up rooms for programs as needed
- Maintain lights - minor repairs light bulb change painting
- Remove snow as needed and salt as needed
- Maintain vehicles as needed and instructed by the Corps Officers
- Drive to do pick-ups as requested
- Help with heavy lifting as needed
- Police outside grounds for trash and keep the exterior clean
- Maintain the lawn as needed
Qualifications
- The ability to do heavy lifting
- A valid NY State Drivers License and the ability to pass any required testing for the operation of a 12-passenger
- Possess working knowledge of tools and building maintenance
- Experience with prior building maintenance
