Job Summary/Description:

KCRG-TV9 is seeking a digital reporter to join our lifestyle show showcasing things to see and do in the community. This position would emphasize creating shareable content primarily for social media that could also run in the show on traditional platforms. This person should be a self-starter to generate and execute creative ideas. This requires a dynamic personality on camera as well as skills in shooting and editing video and photos.

Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Generate shareable content ideas around the community.
- Shoot write and edit content for digital and broadcast platforms.
- Appear on camera to present content and engage with the community.
- Assist with the production and planning of show segments.
- Write scripts for on-air and online segments.
- Opportunities to fill in hosting as-needed.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Proven creativity in social media content creation.
- Dynamic personality
- Ability to cultivate relationships and connections in the local community.
- Proven ability to shoot and edit video.
- Fluency in social media content and trends.
- Highly motivated self-starter ready to make their ideas a reality.
- Proven teamwork skills.
- Bachelors degree in film photography television news or related field or equivalent professional experience
