The Brand Manager will partner with cross-functional teams to drive category growth and deliver breakthrough innovation and communications across a growing number of product categories for Ninja. The Brand Manager will lead the development and execution of global go-to-market plans build compelling category and brand strategies and create best-in-class marketing assets that deliver consumer value and business impact.
The ideal candidate is a business owner consumer-obsessed agile and strategic thinker who can drive innovation and activation from concept through execution with a bias for action in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Identify market and consumer opportunities to inform product development and expand global roadmap
- Oversee daily and weekly reporting of category performance to optimize messaging creative and strategies to deliver on category goals
- Work with cross functional global teams to bring new products to market support localization of global plans and ensure seamless integration in market
- Partner with sales organization on sell in strategy content and sell through performance
- Immerse yourself in the consumer and competitive intelligence to communicate competitive advantage and what it takes to win in the market
Key Functional Skills/Knowledge
- Comfortable working at a fast pace iterative and progress vs. perfection mindset
- Leading and building global teams
- Strong communication skills and ability to make effective presentations to all levels of management
- Ability to synthesize complex product features into compelling and desirable consumer benefits
- Broad spectrum of marketing skills defining strategies building plans driving product launches and front-end innovation management
- Ability to connect the dots and think at a holistic and strategic level across the business
- Influencing conflict resolution and creative problem solving.
- Comfortable mining and analyzing data and drawing conclusions
- Project management and ability to manage several projects in parallel navigating a complex cross-functional matrix
- Biased toward action roll up your sleeves and get it done together
Qualifications
- 5 years of prior Marketing experience preferably with direct responsibility for Brand strategy messaging positioning and comms strategy and execution
- Experience in consumables/CPG space preferred but not required
- Experience in managing building and growing teams
- Experience leveraging consumer insights to develop effective marketing programs and campaigns
- Experience in creative strategy development advertising and launching new products
- Experience in launching products globally across several different markets
This is a hybrid role in office 3x from our Needham MA location
