Job Description
Job Title: Civil Site Development Designer (Hybrid)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Civil Site Development Designer to support infrastructure and facility development projects. This hybrid role involves working closely with civil engineers and other design professionals to develop site layouts grading plans drainage systems and utility designs using industry-standard CAD tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop site drainage grading and utility plans using Autodesk Civil 3D.
Support design efforts using Bentley MicroStation (preferred).
Collaborate with internal teams to produce detailed site plans profiles and construction drawings.
Convert field survey data into topographic drawings and usable surfaces for design and documentation.
Interpret and apply engineering standards and design principles to produce high-quality deliverables.
Ensure all drawings and designs meet internal quality control requirements.
Stay current with evolving industry tools trends and design practices.
Support multiple projects and maintain deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
Apply knowledge of basic construction and constructability concepts in design.
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant civil site design experience.
Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D (required).
Experience with Bentley MicroStation (2D/3D) AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
Solid understanding of civil design principles including site layout grading and drainage.
Experience designing ponds swales and access roads is a plus.
Strong communication time management and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Education Requirements:
Diploma or Certificate in Drafting or a related field required.
Associate Degree in Drafting Engineering Design or related technology preferred.
Additional Requirements:
Candidates must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding processes which may include a background check drug screen and motor vehicle records search in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
