  • Salary:Grade 3 Point- 25183 pro rata 12.65 - 13.05 per hour
  • Hours:0.4 FTE 2 days per week 8.45am 3.15pm 39 weeks per year

We are looking for an experienced and talented Speech and Language Teaching Assistant who ideally has experience in Early Years and Speech and Language interventions. This a varied role which includes delivering a variety of high impact interventions to individuals and small groups of children in Early Years KS1 and KS2.

The role entails being a therapy partner; working closely alongside both NHS and Private Speech and Language Therapy to best support our children. Experience and/or qualification and training in speech and language is preferred but not essential.

You will need to:

  • relish the challenge of supporting learning in an ambitious and diverse school
  • work with dynamic forward-thinking staff with high aspirations for our children
  • be a teaching assistant who exemplifies outstanding classroom practice behaviour management and high expectations
  • be committed to life-long learning and open to excellent CPD opportunities
  • have good levels of English and Maths competence - GCSE C or equivalent and preferably a Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent
  • have some experience knowledge or expertise in Speech and Language interventions.
