The Professional Advisor at Lincoln Memorial University ( LMU ) serves as a dedicated advocate for undergraduate student success. Focused on retention persistence graduation and holistic development this role is the primary point of contact for students throughout their undergraduate journey. The Professional Advisor implements higher education best practices in academic advising supports students in achieving their academic and career goals and fosters a positive and inclusive campus experience.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree required; Masters degree in Higher Education Student Affairs Counseling or a related field preferred. Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in academic advising or student support services in higher education. Familiarity with retention and persistence strategies in undergraduate settings. Demonstrated success in guiding students through academic planning and personal development.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Masters degree in Higher Education Student Affairs Counseling or a related field preferred.
