Do you enjoy working with the public The Virginia Beach Department of Public Health is seeking an individual with excellent interpersonal skills to work in a friendly fast-paced medical clinic as an Office Services Supervisor Sr on our Clinic Administrative Team. The successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that is responsible for Performance Management Insurance Billing and Coding Eligibility HIPAA/Records Retention oversight Program Management/Compliance for multiple programs: Tuberculosis Dental Immunization STI Family Planning etc. and superior customer service within the medical clinic. The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) is dedicated to protecting and promoting the health of Virginians.

Minimum Qualifications
Considerable knowledge of supervisor principals/practices financial guidelines and accounts receivable policies/procedures.
Excellent customer service and communications skills (oral and written)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to work and contribute within collaborative relationships including the public
Additional Considerations
Experience supervising in a healthcare/medical setting
Experience in patient confidentially (HIPAA) and/or Library of Virginia Laws
Experience managing staff in a single specialty medical office
Experience working with medical insurances within a medical office environment
Experience with applying CPT and ICD-10 coding
Experience providing oversight of multiple programs at any given time
Experience completing/overseeing accounts receivables
