Assist with configuration maintenance and reliable operation of computer systems and Windows servers ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
Install upgrade and maintain computer hardware and software ensuring compatibility and compliance with organizational standards.
Provide IT Support for all sites.
Responsible for initiating help desk requests and follow through completion.
Trouble shoot all hardware issues including desktop laptop servers and printer issues.
Responsible for Phone Systems maintenance and service. (phone lines fax machines etc.)
Ensure users are provided professional courteous and timely support and service.
Must be available and willing to work overtime as necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
Assist with IT projects as requested.
Able to provide support remotely even on weekends and nights
Perform other duties as assigned.
Meet with vendors and service providers.
Configure manage and troubleshoot virtualized and standalone server environments including Microsoft Windows Server and SAP
Administer and support Microsoft environments including email user management and security tools
Support devices including laptops desktops and printers and resolve a variety of hardware/software issues.
This person supports 3 locations in New York
Education:
Associate or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field or related experience and a minimum three (3) years experience within Information Technology. Professional certification a plus.
3 years of relevant experience in systems administration.
3 years of SAP experience
Pay is $35.00 - $43.00/hr
