About the Opportunity
Our client is a growing leader in the manufacturing and distribution space with a strong presence across West Africa. As part of their commitment to data-driven decision-making they are seeking a Data Analyst to join their team and help transform raw data into actionable business insights.
This is a great opportunity for someone with solid analytical skills attention to detail and a proactive mindset to support commercial operational or strategic decisions. The role is based in Lagos and may involve collaboration with stakeholders across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect clean and analyse large datasets from internal and external sources.
- Develop dashboards reports and visualisations to track key metrics and KPIs.
- Support business units (sales operations finance etc.) with real-time data insights.
- Identify trends patterns and anomalies in data to support informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define reporting needs and build scalable solutions.
- Assist in automating recurring reports and building self-serve data tools.
- Monitor data quality and integrity recommending process improvements where necessary.
- Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- A degree in Mathematics Statistics Computer Science Economics Engineering or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years experience in a data analyst or reporting analyst role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and one or more of the following: SQL Power BI Tableau Python R.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills able to translate data into clear business insights.
- Detail-oriented with a high standard of data accuracy.
- Experience working in a manufacturing FMCG or commercial environment is an added advantage.
