Job Title: Faade Estimator (Hybrid or On-site)
Location: Belfast Head Office (occasional travel across the UK required)
Hours:
Monday Thursday: 08:30 to 17:00
Friday: 08:30 to 15:30
Salary: Competitive based on experience
Reporting to: Estimating Manager
Contract Type: Full-time Permanent
Role Overview
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and conscientious Estimator to join a growing business in the faades and cladding
sector. This role is ideal for someone who is driven to expand their industry knowledge and be part of a collaborative forward-
thinking team. Youll play a vital role in delivering high-quality tenders and cost plans for a variety of projects across the UK.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tenders from initial enquiry through to submission while working
closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout the estimating
process.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed tenders cost plans and estimates within agreed client deadlines.
Interpret and analyse architectural and technical drawings specifications and project documentation.
Produce accurate cost breakdowns including quantity take-offs and project bills of quantities (BOQs).
Submit finalised project estimates with all required supporting documentation.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
Identify and propose value engineering opportunities to enhance competitiveness.
Manage time effectively to meet multiple deadlines concurrently.
Communicate regularly with clients on tender progress and follow-up.
Present project handover information internally post-award.
Maintain up-to-date databases of subcontractors suppliers and client contacts.
Collaborate with the design team to address buildability issues or potential improvements.
Liaise with quantity surveyors to ensure ongoing commercial alignment during tender and post-award phases.
Requirements
Essential:
Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English
At least 3 years of experience in a construction estimating or related role
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Excellent organisational and attention-to-detail capabilities
Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Word)
Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive team-oriented mindset
Preferred:
Experience in the faade industry (e.g. cladding curtain walling glazing systems)
Familiarity with pricing software such as LogiKal
HNC (or higher) qualification in Construction or a related field

Additional Information
This role is based in Belfast with occasional UK travel required to attend site visits or client meetings. Applicants should be
eligible to work in the UK and available to work full-time from the designated location.
