About The Role
We invite applications from dynamic and passionateEnglish Teachers to be integral members of the English department. Commencing Term 1 2026 and reporting to the Head of English we have two permanent full time positions.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- foster a love for literature and language
- commit to nurturing students intellectual growth
- enjoy working in a team environment yet also be confident and capable of working independently to support and guide the unique learning journey of each student
- have the ability to foster a welcoming and safe learning environment
- possess excellent communication skills
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience teaching VCE essential
- Background in Literary Studies / English Major preferred
- Relevant teaching qualifications
- Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of curriculum content be able to use technology to support your teaching and understand the individual learning needs of students and develop and implement innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student engagement.
Our teachers are expected to participate in and support our commitment to our students to ensure they have a well-rounded school experience encompassing curriculum co-curricular and pastoral care in addition to participating in our sporting program through coaching and managing sport teams.
