CNC Machinist / Programmer Job
Tempe AZ area
$25-$35/hr. (full time)
Job Responsibilities Overview:
* Performs machine setup operation and first article inspections On DMG Mori NLX2500 CNC Lathes (preferred but not needed)
* CNC Programming is a plus
* MasterCam is a plus
* Able to troubleshoot maintenance and quality issues on the machine
* Assists in meeting production schedules
* Assists in meeting quality requirements
* Communicates problems and procedural issues
* Suggests improvements for production and quality
* Works effectively in a team environment
* Perform other duties as assigned
More Specific Job Responsibilities:
* Performs machine setup and first article inspection
* Performs required machine maintenance
* Assists in training other machinists
* Ensures production priorities are followed
* Makes management aware of any quality/production problems
* Uses microscopes calipers micrometers weights optical comparators and other inspection devices Verifies accuracy and completeness of all paperwork
Job Requirements:
* Minimum HS diploma GED or equivalent experience
* Minimum 5 years in a CNC machining environment
* Ability to read write and communicate effectively with all other personnel
* Ability to follow directions and perform complex duties
* Good hand and eye coordination
* Good manual dexterity
* Good interpersonal skills
