Job Description
About the Role:
You will focus on gathering analyzing and summarizing member business and market intelligence to support decision-making and strategic programs across all the Associations propositions and audiences. The Market Intelligence Researcher will provide the insight behind the numbers to promote data-driven decision-making and planning by partners and improve customer and outcomes. You will report to The Senior Manager - Market Intelligence & Insights.
This role is intended to be a hybrid position working from our Durham NC office but we are also open hiring remotely*. You will ideally start in September 2025
You Will:
Conduct qualitative and quantitative market research. Summarize research findings into relevant insights to empower partners in their development of product marketing and business strategies.
Establish best practice across the Association and develop new strategies to increase response rates for important research surveys.
Consolidate information from multiple sources using technology to establish clear trends and weighting to be applied to support prioritization.
Collect data from diverse sources. Define total addressable market for each Proposition and Program area and use analysis to provide strategy recommendations.
Analyze large sets of structured and unstructured data to uncover patterns correlations and meaningful insights.
Support the Experience teams in developing campaigns to support better audience engagement and Return on investment.
Work with the Strategy team on sensing future trends and opportunities for the Association. Establish a network of organizations driving the important technological changes advising on associated changes from Gen Z and a changing working environment to improve on job roles capabilities and business models.
Develop reports dashboards and presentations that summarize research findings in a clear and applicable format.

You Have:
Bachelors degree in Market/Business Intelligence Data Science Economics Market Research Statistics or a related field.
5 years of experience in business intelligence market research data analysis or a related field.
Experience with market research and survey research working on complex data sets.
Experience with market research and survey research working on complex data sets.
Experience with Market Intelligence & Business Reporting tools such as Qualtrics Spreadsheets (can perform complex functions) SQL Python Power BI Tableau plus presentation platforms for data visualization

The Annual Salary Range for this role is: $71000-$95000
