OVERVIEW AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The Director of Training is responsible for creating and delivering a training development plan completewith materials tutorials instructions and learning resources such as online modules and guides. They also supervise the Training Specialist.

  • Develop and deliver customer training for implementations and upon request; training should bedelivered within the context of the customers implementation and configuration plan
  • Develop and maintain user training material
  • Develop and maintain Help Center documentation including collaboration with internal and externalresources for training videos
  • Create training strategies initiatives and materials including communication of new releases
  • Test and review created materials
  • Oversee a team of trainers delivering internal employee and external customer and product training
  • Collaborate with the HR and operational leaders to ensure training/onboarding plans are established to follow departmental position scorecards
  • Maintain a database of all training materials
  • Maintain expertise in the DCI user interface and core operational workflows
  • Maintain familiarity with the customer industry as needed to effectively evaluate workflows anddesign/deliver training
  • Evaluate the user and workflow impact of new features and functionality; determine and deliver theappropriate training and communication
  • Establish processes for cross-team collaboration pertaining to training communication anddocumentation updates for system changes
  • Stay up to date on the latest tools and resources
  • Responsible for hiring and ensuring adequate training for personnel within the department
  • Provides leadership supervision coaching feedback development and discipline (as necessary) andact as role model within organization
  • Ensures that employee(s) effectively perform the essential functions of their position(s)
  • Delegates appropriate responsibilities to departmental personnel.
  • ALL Acumen employees will be vigilant to support the positive compliant cybersecurity company postureby familiarizing themselves with all policies procedures standards and guidelines and act accordingly.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in education business information technology or related field
  • Two (2) years previous experience as a trainer corporate training specialist or related position
  • 5-8 years of management experience
  • Proficient computer skills Microsoft Office Suite (Word PowerPoint Outlook and Excel) andinstructional software
  • Public speaking skills
  • Experience with technologies and best practices for instructional manuals and teaching platforms
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) software such as Articulate 360
  • Familiarity with Acumen services and business processes
  • Strict adherence to company philosophy/mission statement/sales goals
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to supervise multiple projects
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
  • Able to multitask prioritize and manage time efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
