    Position Summary:

    This position is responsible for overseeing a team of accountants in managing and reconciling cash securities and other financial transactions. A detail-oriented person is needed to deliver comprehensive accounting and financial services to clients. Ensuring accuracy and compliance in accounting records for assigned entities is imperative as is remaining in accordance with accounting standards Partnership Agreements and client-specific requirements through all work. Work is conducted in a highly structured team and control environment. Assignments can fall into the quarterly reporting cycle or high paced ad hoc client or investor requests.

    Responsibilities:

    Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    • Provide client service on a range of matters including recording and analyzing transactions reconciliations and preparation of work paper packages.
    • Assistance in the coordination of external audits.
    • Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements.
    • Create and review partner capital calls monthly and quarterly partner capital statements including calculation of partner allocations.
    • Calculate and review waterfall models distribution notices and management fees.
    • Onboarding new clients.
    • Build and maintain relationships with one or more clients managing client expectations and meeting all client deliverables.
    • Provide training and mentoring to the Accountants and Senior Accountants.
    • Review Accountants and Senior Accountants work.
    • Help manage year-end audit process and support external auditors and tax teams with requested financials.
    • Participate in client planning meetings.
    • Foster and protect the GPFS culture.


      Required Education and Experience:

      • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field of study.
      • 4 years of accounting experience.
      • 2 years of private equity experience.
      • Experience managing others.
      • Strong knowledge of industry and accounting principles US GAAP Expertise.
      • Proficiency with software related products such as Microsoft programs (Excel Word Outlook Teams and OneNote).
