Senior IT Business Systems Analyst – SAP FICO

Position Summary:

The SAP FICO/SD IT Business Systems Analyst serves as the technology business partner to support and implement innovative process and system improvements in support of our Finance Accounting and SOX Audit teams. The role will be responsible for troubleshooting gathering business requirements business process definition/documentation systems consulting and system support management. Position will work with all levels of the business including business partners technology teams and key external vendors.

This role requires knowledge of SAP S4 Hana (leveraging Fiori interface) for the FICO/SD Inventory modules with some exposure to the Procurement and Inventory modules. This includes best business practices configuration setups and a strong understanding of the integration points between SAP modules and other integrated Applications within the G&A environment (Supply Chain Legal HR). This includes third-party integrations and reporting.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Support and drive improvements for the growing business with new global rollouts and enhancements to existing FICO/SD related modules. This includes coordinating with 3^rd party business/consultants on process and system design integration testing user training and post go-live support.
• Support end of month quarter year processes of the Finance and Accounting groups.
• Provide first-tier troubleshooting support for any issues within the SAP managed service model (FICO/SD). Evaluate if issues should be escalated to AMS support or handled internally.
• Understand existing SAP Finance/SD configurations and research configurations that would aid in the resolution of issues or the implementations of enhancements.
• Provide quality testing and support UAT testing for new enhancements in the Finance/SD space.
• Assist management in planning future business systems improvements projects and integrations for Finance and Sales and Distribution business applications.
• Generate documentation for the SOX SAP audit. This includes extracting data from SAP analyzing that data and providing consolidated results sets to our SOX Audit team to ensure SOX controls are working as designed.
• Support and work with business and technical resources to enhance finance related integrations.
• Work with reporting/BI team to support and enhance related reporting via 3^rd party reporting tool.
• Work with key business users to identify improvements and coordinate with consultants to modify business systems to meet business requirements using best practices.
• Coordinate with consultants and business/end-user community to develop and review test plans and scripts. Lead all required testing cycles. Support code migration cycle with the Business/Consultants.
• Support audit requests and ensure documentation is maintained throughout the year to support the annual audit cycles.
• Share duties with the SAP team to support and review user on-boarding/off-boarding and adjustments to SAP user roles.
• Willingness to be flexible and provide support (with AMS) for other modules when needed

Education & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in related field with 6 years Business Systems Analyst/IT related experience.
• Minimum 6 years functional experience in one or more of the SAP S4 Hana modules FICO SD. (or related ECC 5.0/6.0 FICO and SD).
• Proven ability to research and investigate cause of issues via SAP support portal and other sources.
• Ability to take business requirements from concept to production leveraging both internal and external resources.
• Proven ability to define user requirements and corresponding system specifications and creation of clear and concise documentation.
