Job Description
Volleyball Coach Position at St. Lawrence Parish
Location: Utica MI 48317
Contact: Matthew Mangold
Athletic Director of St. Lawrence
Needed:
- One JV Coach
- One Varsity Coach
Job Requirements:
- Coaching experience not required but preferred
- If no experience then playing experience is required
- Protecting Gods Children certification is a requirement
- Background check will be conducted
- Conduct tryouts and player placements
- Practices are during the week after 4:00 PM
- Games can be during the week or on the weekends
- Must enjoy working with elementary aged students
The JV and Varsity Coaches will report to the Athletic Director. They will follow all guidelines set forth by St. Lawrence Parish and the Catholic Youth Organization. They will focus on developing our student athletes with the skills needed to grow as a volleyball player. The successful candidates need to bring a catholic identity to the program and lead with a faith-based approach.
