Weare looking for a talented and experienced Web Designer to join our team andhelp us create visually appealing and user-friendly websites. You will beresponsible for the entire design process from concept to launch workingclosely with developers and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless userexperience.
Must Have
- 3 years of experience in social media marketing or a related field.
- Experience in university or educational institutions will be considered an added advantage.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of successful web design projects.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop Illustrator and Figma (or similar).
- Solid understanding of web design principles (color theory typography layout user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design).
- Experience with HTML CSS and JavaScript (a plus).
- Excellent communication collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Responsibilities
- Create wireframes or mockups for web pages and applications.
- Convert raw images and layouts from a graphic designer into CSS/XHTML themes.
- Design layouts for mobile tablet and desktop devices.
- Develop and maintain robust Web style guides for all our consumer- and business-facing products.
- Create branding and identity systems for websites apps and other media.
- Design graphics icons logos animations and manipulate digital photographs.
- Work with developers to implement visual elements of websites.
- Research and evaluate new design trends.
- Establish and maintain design standards and best practices.
- Create site layout/user interface by using standard HTML / CSS / PHP / JAVA practices.
- Experience as a graphic designer or in a related field.
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools including Photoshop InDesign QuarkXPress Figma and Illustrator
- A strong eye for visual design and composition
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience with computer-aided design tools.
