About the area
Work in the Centre for Offshore Foundation Systems (COFS) within the School of Earth and Oceans (SEO). COFS established in 1997 as an ARC Special Research Centre is a world-leading research centre in offshore geotechnics at the forefront of research in offshore renewables. The SEO is home to a critical mass of researchers spanning ocean engineering oceanography and marine science. In addition to COFS the SEO hosts the Wave Energy Research Centre the ARC Research Hub for Transforming energy Infrastructure through Digital Engineering and Woodsides FutureLab collaboration network. SEO researchers conduct world-leading research to provide ocean solutions in relation to the marine environment and resources engineering and technology.
