Role: Fixed Assets Specialist
Location: Wroclaw (hybrid) or remote
As a Fixed Asset Specialist you will play a key role in managing and maintaining the fixed assets lifecycle for the Inditex project. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with financial data ensuring accuracy and contributing to smooth accounting processes.
Responsibilities:
- Registering newly acquired assets in the system (e.g. SAP FA) ensuring all information is accurate and in line with company policies.
- Supporting the full asset lifecycle from acquisition and capitalization through depreciation to disposal or retirement.
- Calculating and monitoring depreciation in accordance with accounting standards and project-specific requirements.
- Reconciling fixed asset accounts preparing regular reports and supporting internal and external audits.
- Collaborating with finance procurement and operational teams to ensure correct asset classification and timely updates.
- Ensuring that all asset-related processes are in line with internal control standards and external regulations.
- Identifying areas for improvement in the fixed asset process and contributing ideas for automation or optimization.
Knowledge and skills:
- Good command of English (preferred) knowledge of any European languages would be an asset
- Basic reporting and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer communication skills
- Ability for teamwork and perfect time management (work cumulated in month end closure)
- Good background of financial processes and accounting concepts.
- Previous experience in a customer service or financial role is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage tasks independently.
- SAP FA basic knowledge (good to have)
