Job Description

The Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese is looking for a skilled and dedicated ICT Assistant to provide support and assistance to our teachers.

-ICT Assistants are accountable for:

-The ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team

-The ability to follow direction prioritise and meet set deadlines

-Interpersonal skills in working with a range of personnel

-Strong planning and organisation skills

-Quality in fulfilling assigned work

-Providing technical and user support including help desk software upgrades virus protection printing systems desktop/notebooks and server maintenance;

-Maintaining communication systems and equipment;

-Managing and developing school website and intranet;

-Assisting with ICT projects as required; and

-Assisting with the maintenance of hardware and software components of computer networks

Typical Experience and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in the relevant area of study
  • Appropriate demonstrated experience

The Organisation

Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 80 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment including the completion of a National Police Check retention of a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with CSPDS Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.

CSPD promotes the safety and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds.
